My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I received a review copy from the author. A 4.5 stars. Thank you for reaching out to me and asking me to give this book a read.
I was a little imitated by the size of this book at first and I told the author *WOW* it is long lol but after reading the synopsis I wanted to give this fantasy a try and I am glad I did.
This was a debut and I absolutely loved it. The world building was done very well. The story kept me intrigued and even though the book was long and there was a lot of debt put into this book, I was still very surprised at how much I really enjoyed this book.
This book follows 2 POV's. Zariah and Tessa. The chapters go between POV and I love when a book is done this way. The closer you get to the end of the book, you can begin to see how the 2 world collide. There is lots to love about this book. The friendship and magic in this book was done great.
I love following Tessa on her dreams and her dreams of Zariah.
Now, the surprising thing is, I don't normally read books with dragons but every once in a while one will peak my interest and the author did great on how the dragon was written in.
I loved this story and I am looking forward to book 2 of this and other works by this author. For this to be a debut, the author took a lot of time building and knew what she wanted from this book. Great job done.
