Review: Fallen Empire

Fallen Empire Fallen Empire by K.N. Lee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was very interesting. I don't normally do Dragon books but I found myself enjoying this.

The description on this book in synopsis fits this book very well. So I don't think there is much more to say about this book except read the synopsis and go for it.

This is not a stand alone book. There is a cliffhanger so if you don't like cliffhangers then this book may not be for you. I don't mind them because it leaves me wanting the next book.

Enjoy your read.

Review: The Diviners

The Diviners The Diviners by Libba Bray
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was enjoying this book but I got so lost because I was trying to listen at night before bed so with that being said I am rating this on how I liked what I heard. lol. I will be reading this again and not before beds. I would be so invested in the audio then I would fall asleep and have to start over again the next spot and guess at where I left off at. It is a very intriguing book. So I will definitely pick it back up to before I move on to book 2.

Review: The Holiday Boyfriend

The Holiday Boyfriend The Holiday Boyfriend by Christina Benjamin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

***I received this book as an ARC for free in exchange for a honest review***

First, I love this author. I have met her before and have several of her books so when I got the offer to read this book for a free review, I could not pass it up.

I loved this story. I love seeing the story of Emma and Will unfold. Seniors and former best friends. Granted they had some rough patches and adding a jealous girl in the book makes this book worth reading. It was a very cute YA novel that dove into many issues. It dealt with broken hearts, family and friends. You watch also as the author puts it all back together or did she??

With out giving any spoilers, will Emma and Will work things out and find their way back to each other? This story was such a cozy read with a great throw and coffee.

WOW! I really loved this. I surprised myself. This book was different for me. I read a lot more mystery and paranormal. War books have never been my style but this story compelled me. With me growing up with god always in my life, this story was amazing.

Karen and Adam are set to be married when he called away to the war. Something happen that has him back home but Karen is left wondering what happened to the Adam she once new and loved. Relying on God and their faith, will Adam find himself back to Karen and the love they once had?

This book is a must read. SO very sweet. I actually had a few tears in my eyes. This book touched me.

Ariah's and Logan's journey is this story is compelling. There is a lot of love and betrayal in this book.

But when things turn bad and she must fight the battle and her powers are unleashed. Secrets are reviled. She battles for her safety and her concerns are now, who can she trust?

Review: NeverSea

NeverSea NeverSea by Jenetta Penner

***This ARC was given by the author in exchange for an honest review***

I loved this. This was a different style book for me. I have a few on my shelves but I have never pulled them to read them. Now I think I will have to read them thanks to this cute book.

This is mix of your little mermaid and peter pan story. I love the twist on this book. If you love mutations and special powers with a crazed scientist that loves giving humans super powers, this book will be for you!

Arya: This is the main character and with her being the doctors first test subject, she has been give the ability to breathe and swim underwater with her gills and speed. Her sisters were given similar abilities but not as nothing like what Arya was given. Ayra has her boyfriend James, which is the son of the scientist and also works at the facility with his mom, and her Friend Peter, who has the ability to fly, and Arya's childhood friend, fight beside her in this epic tale.

The love story between Ayra and James is so cute. I love their journey.

After years of being apart while trying to escape will they find their friendships still exist?? Reading this book will enlighten your day. It is such a cute and fast read.
