Let's Pretend Let's Pretend by River Laurent
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily

This was so very good. I am glad I have found it. It took me awhile to read because of book expo but I highly recommend. The characters are very enticing! *wink wink*
Goodreads Synopsis:

I’ve always had a thing for fiery Scarlett Johnson.

She has the cutest butt around town and that mouth. What I could do with that mouth!

But as the daughter of a man I respected a great deal she was always out of bounds, but now he’s dead, and he has drawn up his will in such a way that his daughter needs to marry me, Zachary Black. I hold the cards to the thing that matters most to her.

She wants it to be a pretend marriage, but I’m not known as the great big white shark in the circles I swim in for no reason.

I tell her nothing is for nothing. The deal has to work both ways.

She gets something and I get something.

It's clear it kills her to do it, but she agrees.

I thought I had the upper hand, the better part of the deal...and she made me lose control.
