City of Glass City of Glass by Cassandra Clare
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Book 1 - City Of Bones - 4 Stars
Book 2 - City Of Ashes - 4 Stars
Book 3 - City Of Glass - 5 Stars

I have took my time reading this book. Since I have already established the world and know the characters, I was not in a big rush to fly through it. It was great read in between other books.

I really enjoyed this book So far out this book has been my favorite of the series. I enjoyed getting to see The City of Glass and I loved the way the world was built. This book took this series to a new level for me.

I love that this series always picks up right off where the last book ended. There is no learning what is going on again but you can just take off right where you ended.

I do think this was supposed to be a trilogy but then 3 more books were added to this series. I know some have so many ways of reading this series but I think I will just continue reading all of TMI series then go on the next spin off. Maybe this will work for me. lol

“You could have had anything else in the world, and you asked for me."
She smiled up at him. Filthy as he was, covered in blood and dirt, he was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen.
"But I don't want anything else in the world.”

Okay, so we are met with new characters in this book but I loved how Cassie brought them in. Clary was prohibited to enter the City of Glass but Clary being Clary and her little stubborn butt, she did not listen. But seeing how the book was written, Clary of course had to be there. Her best friend has been tossed in prison and she is heart broken to find Jace doesn't want her there. Still fighting the love they have for each other, it becomes harder to hide it in the book. I did see the ending coming only because I have spoiled myself by watching the movies so I knew about the love life of Clary and Jace but I still loved it. Even knowing what I knew, when I read stuff in the books, I was like ... UMMM no. lol.

“There is no pretending," Jace said with absolute clarity. "I love you, and I will love you until I die, and if there is life after that, I'll love you then.”

There were some moments where I was torn apart and others where I started smiling. These characters are so wonderfully written and now I will have to keep reading. I can't wait to see how this world progresses. I love how in this book you also see the Shadowhunters and the Downworlders working together. This story is the best yet.
