Friendly Friday - Shannon Myers - Forsaking all others book series - #1

Oct 19, 2018

Hello Rustic beauties,

I have decided to start doing a "Friendly Friday" post.

I have wanted to come up with a post that I could do weekly and wanted to be able to end your week on a good note, as they say.

This post each week could consist of a book or series I have read, an author I have met, up comings books that I am excited about, up coming events, or just anything I feel that I want to share some love about.

That is what we are here for, Right? We want to share with the world the things that we are passionate about, so this will be a way that I can share each Friday with you, something that I am passionate about and think you would love to know about.

If there are things you would like for me to feature on my site, please let me know. I love learning about what other bloggers or readers like to see. I have always blogged small but I am wanting to branch out more and extend my blogging. I want to put more effort in giving you as the reader or blogger more. You are what make the book world turn.

So today I want to start my 1st Friendly Friday post. I am looking for to starting this. I am such a procrastinator, I hope I can keep it up. lol I have a fulltime 40 hours job, a husband that I have to feed once I get home, a house that requires daily cleaning due to I have 4 dogs. I don't have children but I do have my four fur babies.

I am also thinking of creating a life style page just so you can keep up my lifestyle also. Just day to day stuff that is going on. Mainly a lot of dog pics lol. I thought it would help you to get to know me better and feel like you are part of my world.

I also love to Instagram. I would love to keep my blog just for my reviews but I am also thinking of doing an Instagram page just so you can see every time I add a new Instagram post and post those lovely pictures here for you to see. There is so much that I would love to share with you because I feel like If I am going to expect you to want to know what I write about, I need to let you know more about me. I know that when I am able to enjoy the blogger/youtuber/instagramer more is when I get to see more of who they are as a person.

So sit tight and hang on, I want to make sure I bring the blog to life for you!!

MY FIRST "FRIENDLY FRIDAY"

To end this small update on a good note and my first "Friendly Friday", I am going to post some information about an author I met last year at Penned Con in St. Louise Missouri. We actually did not meet until the last night. She was sitting at my table at the award show and we spoke some there. After I left there I looked up her books and loved them. She was very kind and gifted me her books to read but I also listened to them on audio. I met her again this year at Penned Con and had to grab a few pictures with her. She is such a fun person I would highly recommend her books so If you are interested in reading her books make sure you click below and find out more about Shannon Myers yourself. (Not to be confused as Shannon Mayer)

BOOK SERIES by Shannon Myers - "From this day forward"

Landon promised me forever. Forever only lasted until his best friend's wife caught his eye. He left behind the house and the remnants of my shattered heart. David is my white knight. Swooping in to rescue me from my grief.

One is my husband. The other? A mystery.

A car wreck changes my entire reality. Now, nothing is as I remember it, including the man I vowed to love until death.

You think you've heard this before? Trust me, you have no idea.

From This Day Forward is the first book in the From This Day Forward Duet. Both books are now available! Elizabeth's story continues in Forsaking All Others.

The only thing worse than losing your memory? Gaining it back. How can I work through the pain of his betrayal when my own hands are as black as sin?

My husband swears he's not going down without a fight, but our transgressions are fiery ash, raining down on what's left of our kingdom.

One wants to love me.

The other? Possess me.

And if I choose the wrong man, I'll lose more than my heart—it just might cost me my life.

Forsaking All Others is the final book in the From This Day Forward Duet and should be read following From This Day Forward.

About Shannon Myers
Shannon is a born and raised Texan. She grew up inventing clever stories, usually to get herself out of trouble. Her mother was not amused. In junior high, she began writing fractured fairy tales from the villain's point of view and that was the moment she knew that she was going to use her powers for evil instead of good.

In 2003, she moved to Denver and met the love of her life. After some relentless stalking and a few well-timed sarcastic remarks, the man eventually gave in to her charms and wifed her so hard. They welcomed a son in 2007 that they named after their favorite Marvel superhero, Spiderman.

Sick of seeing beautiful mountains through their window every day, the three escaped back to the desolate landscape of the west Texas desert in 2009. She welcomed her second son not long after and soon realized that being surrounded by three men was nothing at all like she'd imagined in her fantasies.

After an unplanned surgery in 2014 and a long pity party, she decided to pen a novel about the worst thing that could happen to a person in order to cheer herself up. She's twisted like that. Thus, From This Day Forward was born and the rest, as they say, is history.

Not only does Shannon enjoy stalking people, she also has a fondness for being stalked. Visit her at www.shannonshaemyers.com to keep up with her latest schemes and shenanigans.
